What is DriveNets Training and Certification?

The DriveNets Training and Certification program is a new program that provides self-paced and instructor-led courses and certification exams on the disaggregated networking model around DriveNets products. Our goal is to help you become skilled in building large scale networks based on white boxes and cloud-native technologies, based on the leading solution on the market, DriveNets’ Network Cloud. Our content is delivered in different formats and is adapted to your objectives and for your role.

The DriveNets Training and Certification program is for any Service Provider network professionals, beginner or expert, already using DriveNets products or not yet, or working in network design, planning, architecture or operations and who want to learn about the new and improved way of building networks.

The starter online course (Network Disaggregation Fundamentals) is free until December 31, 2021. Other role-specific courses and certification exams require a payment. Access to our online learning platform is free for all registered professionals.

For first time registrants, select your desired course and enter the requested information in the enrollment page. After your submission is processed – up to 2 working days – you will receive an email with your credentials for accessing DriveNets’ online learning platform.

Through DriveNets’ learning platform, you can access your online modules, register for scheduled onsite and virtual classes, take online exams, obtain your certificates and share them online.

What is a course?

A course is a set of modules that is organized around a specific type (general, role-based, specialty), a specific role (operator, administrator, technology expert) or knowledge level (starter, advanced, expert).

If you pass the final exam at the end of the course, you will be awarded a certificate.

What is a module?

A module is a defined topic or building block of a specific DriveNets course.

What languages do you support?

Our courses and certification exams are in English. We are working on supporting additional languages, starting with Japanese and Spanish. If you require another language, contact us at certification_info@drivenets.com

What are the available courses?

We offer different courses depending on your objectives, experience level with Network Cloud and role.

I am already using Drivenets Network Cloud solution, how do I start my certification?

You can start with one of the advanced role-based courses (DriveNets Network Cloud Operator, DriveNets Network Cloud Administrator). If you wish to obtain more general knowledge, you can take the DriveNets Network Disaggregation Fundamentals course.

I work for a Service Provider organization, but I am not using Network Cloud. How do I start my certification?

Start with the DriveNets Network Disaggregation Fundamentals and proceed with the Professional and Champion courses. When your organization starts implementing Network Cloud, you will be able to take the Network Cloud Operator or Administrator courses depending on your role or career objectives. After gaining hands-on experience, you will be able to take the expert classes.

I don’t work for a Service Provider organization, but I would like to know more about DriveNets Network Cloud. Can I get certified?

Unfortunately, our certification programs are all geared toward Service Providers at this time. However, you can check out the wide array of webinars, white papers and blogs available on our web site. They provide you with an excellent introduction to Network Disaggregation, our Network Cloud solution and technologies. You can follow us on LinkedIn to receive updates on new content.

How do exams work?

At the end of each course, you will be tested on the material that you have learned. The exam is either online or at the very end of an onsite/virtual scheduled class. Either way, you must complete the entire course before taking the exam. Exams are typically questionnaires consisting of 30 to 50 questions. Some exams also include virtual labs and hands-on tasks.

What is a certificate?

A certificate is an achievement that you earn when you pass a certification exam. An exam is either taken online or at the end of an onsite scheduled class. Having passed an exam, the certificate will appear on your profile and you can share it through social media (using Credly, our certification sharing service)

A certificate is a validation and recognition from DriveNets, a leader in its field, that you have acquired specific skills. It can help you boost your career, open new opportunities and help you to stand out among your peers to your employer.
